Genmaicha Green Tea 80g - Popcorn Tea - Loose - Steenbergs details and description
Genmaicha Green Tea is a Japanese delicacy. Genmaicha is a weird, but traditional Japanese green tea, made by mixing Sencha green tea with Rice Kernels (genmai) giving it a nutty flavour like drinking green tea with unflavoured popcorn mixed in – wacky but cool. The popcorn-looking stuff in the Genmaicha are actually rice kernels that pop during the roasting process. This genmaicha is a loose leaf green tea.
Brewing Tip: One level teaspoon per mug or person of Steenbergs Genmaicha Tea , add freshly drawn water that is just off the boil, then steep for two minutes.
Ingredients: green tea, rice kernels
Steep - sip - savour - sustainably with Steenbergs.
