Four of Old Hamlet's Gluhwein (or Glühwein) Spice Bundles packed in a burgundy pillow pack - great for Austrian or German style hot wine drinks.
Old Hamlet's popular Gluhwein Spice mix is made in Yorkshire and hand-tied into individual muslin pouchettes, with each bundle weighed to give the right amount of spice mix to transform 1 bottle of red wine into an Austrian style hot Gluhwein or a French vin chaud or Danish Glogg.
Also available in black or green pillow packs - just request it in the special instructions!
Ingredients: Cinnamon, Allspice, Clove, Lemon Peel, Orange Peel.
Instructions: Add 1 bottle red wine, 2 tablespoon sugar, 1 Gluhwein bundle to pan and heat gently, stirring occasionally. When nearly boiling, remove from heat and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Reheat, add a dash of brandy and serve hot.
Store in cool, dark and dry place.
