Spicy Nuts Recipe
A great way to spice up a bowl of nuts. Delicious with a cold beer!
Ingredients
| 2 tsp | Steenbergs organic Quatre Epices spice blend |
| 1 tsp | sea salt |
| 1 tbsp | coconut oil |
| 200g | mixed unsalted nuts (pecans, walnuts, brazils, cashews, peanuts etc) |
| 1 tbsp | maple syrup |
| 1 tbsp (or 1 tsp dried) | fresh rosemary, finely chopped |
Method
- Preheat your oven to 180C.
- Melt the coconut oil, then mix together with the spices, salt and chopped rosemary in a large bowl.
- Toss the nuts in the oily mixture, then place on a baking tray and roast in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Take out and drizzle over the maple syrup before roasting for a further 5 minutes.
