Steenbergs Organic Chilli Sauce Seasoning is our own dry seasoning mix of chilli with herbs, spices and salt, which is blended at Steenbergs factory in North Yorkshire. This blend is made to Steenbergs authentic recipe, developed in the 1990s, which we turned organic in 2020.
Steenbergs Chilli Sauce Mix creates a genuine, American-style warm tomato sauce (when mixed with tomatoes) that is great with vegetables, chicken and meat. We try and take some of that hassle out of your busy schedule with this easy to use herb mix.
To make the Steenbergs chilli sauce mix fry 2 chopped onions for 5 mins, add 1 tbsp of Steenbergs organic chilli sauce mix, 400g tin chopped tomatoes, 1 tbsp of tomato puree, 235ml stock water. Cover pan, simmer for 30 minutes. Add vegetables or browned meat then cook until tender.
