Clearspring's Organic Japanese White Miso Paste is unpasteurised, fermented whole soya paste with rice.
Made to an old family recipe in Japan's Nagano prefecture and is sweet and savoury whilst still bringing the umami that you are looking for.
Use for making miso soups, add to stews, sauces or in dressings and even as a glaze.
Ingredients: Soya beans* (53%), cultured rice*, sea salt, water
*organically grown . Allergens in bold
Store in a cool, dark place. Refrigerate after opening and consume within 3 months. Miso will naturally darken with time, this will NOT affect quality.
Miso is a live product and ongoing fermentation may cause lid to bulge. It will still be safe to consume. Harmless white yeasts may develop from exposure to air. Simply skim off.

We love using Miso in the Steenberg household its delicious on slow roasted aubergine , as well as in stir fries and ramen soup. Let us know your farvourite use of it?
