Suma organic tinned red kidney beans are tinned with just water. There is no added sugar, salt or skin hardeners. The beans are canned in the UK in a nut free environment.
Red kidney beans are floury in texture and taste fairly sweet. Red kidney beans are central to making chilli con carne.
Instructions for use:
Drain and rinse well. The beans are ready to use in hot and cold dishes. Once opened remove from tin and store in an airtight container in the fridge. Ideal for soups, casseroles, chillis and salads. A useful source of fibre and protein.
Recipe idea:
One of the most delicious ways that we've had kidney beans in recent years was a South American inspired dish with fried onion and pancetta with coconut oil, rice and kidney beans added to it and cooked through. Spices and chillies were also added to a plenty. So tasty.

One of the classic essential storecupboard staples are tinned beans, lentils and chickpeas. We get through a lot of these organic red kidney beans whether its in chillis, stews, or in a tasty bean side for fajitas or enchilladas.
