Apple Muesli Recipe
A wonderfully creamy breakfast that iss filling and will stop you nibbling until lunchtime hopefully Recipe for 2
Ingredients
| 6tbsp | organic oats or oat meal |
| 2tbsp | organic lemon juice |
| 2 | large apples |
| 200ml | / 1 cup full fat milk mixed with 2tbsp honey |
| 2tbsp | grated nuts |
Method
- If the oats are not quick oats, soak them overnight in 6tbsp water.
- In the morning mix the lemon juice and milk together and pour over the oats.
- Wash or peel the apple, then remove the stalk and top. Grate into the mixture, stirring occasionally to prevent the apple from browning.
- Top with grated nuts and serve at once.
- For variations add cinnamon (1tsp) and/or apricots or raisins.
