5 Websites for Plant-based Inspiration
We may be coming to the end of Veganuary but there are lots of websites for daily inspiration.
We may be coming to the end of Veganuary but for many people a plant-based diet is now the norm. According to the Vegan Society there were 600,000 registered vegans in 2018 compared to 150,000 in 2014 and the trend is set to continue. Sales of plant-based milks, especially oat milks, have soared with 25% of people now trying them (33% for 16-24 year olds) and most of the major high street retailers and restaurants now offer vegan alternatives.
Maintaining a varied and balanced diet as a vegan or flexitarian (one who is cutting back on meat and dairy) is really important but there are now lots of lovely bloggers and websites who provide daily inspiration. We’ve picked a few here that we really like:

Including Cake – run by plant-based foodie and personal empowerment coach Jo Hodson, Jo not only shares her vegan recipes but also her words of wisdom. Minimalist Baker – creating recipes that require one bowl, less than 10 ingredients or less than 30 minutes to prepare, Dana Shultz’s website is mainly plant based but welcomes all eaters. Nikibakes – run by blogger and recipe creator Niki Beh, provides delicious recipes for a flexitarian lifestyle that are often gluten free, raw, sugar free or vegan.
