Ingredients
| 350g | passata |
| 3tbs | clear honey |
| 1tbs | rice vinegar |
| 2tbs | tomato puree paste |
| 1tbs | coconut aminos |
| 1tsp | fish sauce |
| 1/2tsp | Steenbergs traditional sea salt |
| 3/4 tsp | Steenbergs organic smoked paprika- add more to taste |
| 1/2 tsp | Steenbergs organic chilli powder- add more to taste |
| 1/2 tsp | Dijon mustard |
| 1/4tsp | Steenbergs organic cayenne pepper - add more to taste |
| 1 small clove | garlic, finely chopped |
| 1/2 tsp | Steenbergs organic onion powder |
| 1/4 tsp | Steenbergs organic ground allspice |
| 1/2 tsp | Steenbergs organic cracked black pepper |
Method
- Place all the ingredients in a saucepan. Whisk to combine over a medium heat
- As the sauce begins to boil, reduce the heat and simmer for about half an hour, until the sauce has reduced to a favourable thickness (about half)
- Store in a jar and put in the fridge, when cool, or freeze
