Organic Vegetable Bouillon NO SALT Standard 40g - Steenbergs details and description

Steenbergs Organic Vegetable Bouillon With No Added Salt was developed after many requests from our customers for an even cleaner bouillon style product.  It took a while to create as removing the salt removed one of the key flavour components, however by including umami flavours from organic mushroom powder and organic carob powder, we reckon we have come up with something that is really good.

This Steenbergs organic vegetable bouillon is salt free, yeast free, gluten free and suitable for coeliacs, vegans and vegetarians.

Please note this product does NOT contain anti caking agents and whilst every effort is made to sieve before packing, this product will clag up and that's normal.

Ingredients in Steenbergs Organic Low Salt Vegetable Bouillon Mix - organic carrot powder , organic onion powder , organic leek powder , organic potato powder , organic maltodextrin , organic mushroom powder , organic carob powder , organic lemon peel powder , organic savory , organic garlic powder , organic parsley , organic turmeric , organic ground black pepper powder , organic thyme, organic sage powder , organic marjoram

Directions: we recommend 20g or 4 tsp to each litre of boiling water, but as with all blends, spices and seasonings it is to taste.

  • Add 50ml boiling water to 20 organic vegetable bouillon and stir to make a smooth paste. Add the remaining water, stirring continuously.
  • Use as vegetable stock
  • Alternatively, add 20g organic vegetable bouillon directly to boiling gravies, stocks, vegetables, rice or casseroles to enhance the flavour.
