Seggiano roasted artichoke hearts in EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil).
Peeled, washed and centrifuged, Seggiano artichokes are roasted over red-hot volcanic rock.
Exceptionally tasty artichokes, grilled over volcanic rock to give them a delicious roasted flavour. Made by a small, family-run producer with fresh artichokes at harvest time, they are preserved in the traditional way under extra virgin olive oil. Made in Tuscany using fresh artichokes and roasted over volcanic rock coals. Serve as part of a light antipasto, slice and add to salads or enjoy on bruschetta.
For centuries Italian smallholders have preserved their spring artichoke crop in EVO) for the year ahead. Whilst many food producers now store the artichokes in brine, Seggiano are preserved fresh at harvest time in EVOO in the traditional way, for great texture and flavour.
Ingredients: artichokes (63%) extra virgin olive oil (36%), vinegar, sea salt, chilli, rosemary, garlic and pepper.
