Recipe for Classic Mulled Wine
Ingredients
1 x bottle of red wine
1 x Steenbergs organic Mulled wine spice sachet
Sugar to taste
Decorate with star anise, cinnamon quills and/or orange slices
Method
Pour the whole bottle of wine into a pan and add the Steenbergs Mulled wine sachet and any sugar you desire. Bring the wine to a gentle simmer and taste.
Turn off the wine and leave to infuse, the longer you leave the sachet in the wine the stronger the flavour will become. You can also add orange juice, apple juice or water.
