These three vegan and gluten free sauces are perfect for the colder months and provide a wonderful sauce for cauliflower cheese, pasta alfredo, pesto dishes, vegetable tray bakes
Ingredients
Alfredo sauce
| 1 cup | diced potatoes, cooked and cooled |
| 3/4 cup | water (add more if needed) |
| 1/2 tbsp | fresh lemon juice |
| 2 tbsp | nutritional yeast |
| 1 tsp | sea salt |
| 1/4 tsp | organic turmeric ground |
| 1/4 tsp | crushed muntok white peppercorns |
For the Italian herb sauce:
| 2 tablespoons | Add chopped fresh basil |
| 2 tablespoons | chopped fresh coriander, |
Spanish Paprika sauce
| 1 tsp | organic smoked paprika |
| 1/4 tsp | organic ground coriander |
| 1 tsp | Aleppo Chilli Flakes |
Method
First create the alfredo sauce, blend all your ingredients together in a high speed blender until you get a sauce like consistency, add more water if it needs thinning out.
For the Italian or Spanish paprika option, add either the herbs or additional spices to the sauce/dip and then blitz it.
