5 favourite recipes with roses to treat your loved one on Valentine's Day
'What a lovely thing a rose is!' said Arthur Conan Doyle, and we wholeheartedly agree. Not only do we love the beautiful scented flowers while they bloom, but the magnificent fragrance can be prolonged by drying or distilling the petals. We especially love the fact that there are many culinary uses for rose, thereby giving us both the scent and the taste of these fabulous flowers.
Here at Steenbergs we have created an award-winning organic Rose Water through the simple water extraction of the classic Persian Damask rose blossom, Rose de Rescht. Add to creams, custards, fruit and chocolate puddings to savour the flavour.
